Maggie in Venice

It's a windy day in Venice, with shutters banging and ominous crashing noises behind the safety barriers on several restoration projects in our neighborhood. That's fine with Maggie: She loves the feeling of the wind in her hair, as long as it isn't accompanied by rain. 

In the photos below, Maggie sniffs the incoming air from the Venetian Lagoon...

Addendum: Fausto, author of the Alloggi Barbaria Blog, subsequently wrote in his blog: "I do not remember in my life in Venice a wind so strong and persistent, lasting over two days now."
