Maggie in Venice

Venice is having a heat wave, and dogs--like people--need to stay hydrated.

Fortunately, many of Venice's squares have free water fountains like the one in the photo.

Often, somebody has put out a pan or bowl for dogs, but when no suitable container is available, a pair of cupped hands will keep Fido or Fifi from drying out.
